This Green Tea Extract contains min. 98% Polyphenols, max. 0.5 % Caffeine and 50%-55% EGCG. This qualtiy is extracted from the dried leaves of Camellia sisensis (L.) Kuntze, is clearly soluble and free from carrier and further ingredients. Green Tea is obtained from the same plant (Camellia sinensis) as Black Tea. It is prepared by lightly steaming and drying the leaves, whereas Black Tea is made by allowing the leaves to ferment before drying. Green Tea has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for a wide range of health conditions. The active ingredients are Catechins, a group of Polyphenols.
