Pomegranate Extract Ellagic acid

In mediaeval times, the Pomegranate was the most valuable fruit known and thus was used as an emblem by kings in portraits. The Pomegranate contains hundreds of phytochemicals. Its potent antioxidant activity is often attributed to the Polyphenol content, including Punicalagin, Ellagitannin, and Ellagic acid. Recent research has found, however, that the various fractions of constituents in this fruit work synergistically together.
